HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What is it about the arbitrary changing of a calendar that gets people so excited? I'm not sure, but I usually just go with it ... what's wrong with taking an opportunity to assess, or re-assess what's important in our lives and remind ourselves of what we're grateful for?

2008 was a fantastic year for me musically. Response to Life & Limb and recent tours has been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm thankful to anyone who took the time to listen and gave a shit in general. HUGE thanks to everyone who shared the music online or on the radio, came to a show, helped with a show, put on a house concert and/or put me and my traveling companions up for the night. There is no way I could do this without you so any attempt to have it appear otherwise is silly. THANK YOU.

I hope you get to spend time doing things with people that inspire you in 2009.
