My 1st trip to the US on the Life & Limb tour was a huge success. I had a blast, played some fantastic shows and met a ton of great folks ... I'm feeling rammy today now that I've stopped moving for a bit, so thought I'd compile a list of my top 9 moments of the U.S. mini tour(in no particular order):

1. Asking everyone at The Johnstown show to take a few steps forward and being completely surrounded for the rest of the show

2. Beatles-style rooftop concert before the Johnstown show!! (Matt Miller and Dan Oatman played "Get Back" on the rooftop of the venue as people filed for the show)

3. Singing That Cold Hard Sell at the backyard concert in Washington,PA with my back to a bonfire and a bunch of folks playing percussion and hootin' and hollerin'

4. Visiting East St. Louis and getting some perspective on the opportunities I've been given just 'cause of where I happen to have been born

5. Seeing Elsinore tear it up at Cowboy Monkey in Champaign

6. Playing a "house" concert in a house with a turret(!) in Parkersburg

8. Drinking fantastic beer at The Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh--they brew right on the altar!

9. Buying a 2-4 case of PBR cans for $9.99 US ... this could become a problem ...

*new*BIG WEST CANADA TOUR JULY 24-AUGUST 21

I haven't done a big summer western tour for a few years, so this will be a treat ... nothing like driving through the mountains and the prairies in the summer. My co-pilot will be Jacob Koestler a friend from Johnstown, PA, fellow musician, and badass photog. He'll be chronicling the journey in photographs and video.
